If you are a fan of black sesame seeds, this cake is for you. It’s full of flavor, not just a hint, moist and delicious.
Black and white sesame seeds are another cheap and healthy option for baking. I have used them for making keto bread and buns and they are light, fluffy and crispy when toasted.

KETO BLACK SESAME CAKE
If you are a fan of black sesame seeds, this cake is for you. It's full of flavor, not just a hint, moist and delicious. Black and white sesame seeds are another cheap and healthy option for baking. I have used them for making keto bread and buns and they are light, fluffy and crispy when toasted.
Ingredients
DRY INGREDIENTS
- 40 g Coconut flour
- 40 g Ground Black Sesame Seed
- 12 g Baking Powder
- 50 g Lakanto monk fruit
- ½ tsp spoon
WET INGREDIENTS
- 200 ml Whipping Cream
- 3 large whole eggs
- 60 ml Coconut cooking oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 340 F or 170 C.
- In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Add all the wet ingredients and whisk until well combined. The batter is thick and smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased pan lined with parchment paper at the bottom. In the video, I used a 6 inch or 15 cm round pan with a removable bottom. You can also use a springform pan or any suitable pan. This cake is quite small so you can easily increase the recipe.
- Bake at the middle rack for 40 to 50 minutes or until a wooden skewer comes out clean.
- Cool completely on a wire rack then dust with powdered sweetener (optional).
