Instant Pot Creamy Crack Chicken

This is a super simple and a quick fix for a creamy cheesy chicken recipe. All you need is an instant pot or pressure cooker. Leave the chicken in there to cook and a delicious meal will be served within 30 mins for the family. Definitely a children approved recipe as it will taste super cheesy. This recipe can go solo on its own, paired with pastas. It can be one of the best cheesy fillings for sandwiches.   • 500 g chicken breast
  • 300 g cream cheese


  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp mixed Italian herbs

To fold in

  • 80 g fried bacon
  • 50 g cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Some spring onion


  • With a instant pot, place the chicken breast in it.
  • Season the chicken with seasoning.
  • Place the cream cheese on top of the chicken breast.
  • Turn to Pressure cook mode for 20mins.
  • After 20 minutes, remove the chicken. With a mixing bowl, place the cooked chicken. Shred the chicken breast with a pair of forks.
  • Scoop more cream cheese from the pot and mix well with the chicken.
  • Fold in bacon, cheddar cheese and spring onion.
  • Ready to serve.
