I am a chef. It’s natural for chefs to love eating. In addition to cooking delicious food for guests, researching new dishes is also my job. On my days off, I always go around looking for good food, so my life is always centered around eating, eating, eating, eating, eating, eating, eating, eating.
At the peak of my life, I weighed 116kg. I would sweat profusely even going to the restroom, and I didn’t even want to climb stairs. I couldn’t drink more than 1L of water a day, and I couldn’t resist two packs of iced coffee. If I didn’t finish it today, I would put it in the fridge and continue drinking it tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣.
That’s me before I started following a low-carb, high-fat diet, a chef who ate himself into obesity.
In May 2021, I learned about the low-carb, high-fat diet from my sister Yvonne Leong. She added me to this group, and I started slowly learning and adapting. I also began to follow the eating habits of the group members. I’m grateful to the group’s founder, Ang Tun Chek, for creating such a meaningful page. I’ve learned a lot from it, and I’m thankful 🙏🏻.
After two years of following a low-carb diet, I love the current me, weighing 88kg. My pants went from size 42 to size 34, and my clothes went from 3XL to size L 😄. I walk lightly and am full of confidence 😎. That’s the present me 😜.
